The wine is ruby red in color with a violet rim, and has a rich aroma with a distinct oak flavor, with hints of clove and lactic acid;

Predominantly fruity, with red fruit and very ripe wild berry (blackberry, currant, wild strawberry) and floral (violet petals). Aging brings out spicy flavors of cinnamon and black pepper. The well-integrated oak taste highlights the excellent quality of this wine;

On the palate, the wine has good backbone and acidity, with powerful but very fine tannins;

Long and elegant finish with great cellaring potential.
