He holds an UK Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) Level 3 certification and has attended the Wine Tutor program conducted by the Bordeaux Wine School in France.

Gianfranco Casati is serving as senior executive in a large multinational company in the technology sector. Based in Singapore while Italian by origin, he was born surrounded by vineyards and his grandparents owned vineyards themselves. Despite life took him elsewhere – he graduated in economics and started an international consulting career early on – he never cuts his ties with wine. On the contrary his interest has consistently developed as years of international business travels have allowed him to know several wineries and their wines. A genuine connoisseur, he brings his global experience and technology acumen in his storytelling about wines.
